Chanel Thiry MA LPCC

Hi my name is Chanel! Whether this is the beginning of your healing journey or a part along the way I am glad you are here. I became a therapist because I experienced what it was like to be fully seen and known in a therapy room and that made all the difference in my healing. Finding the right fit in a therapist is so important and yet can be so difficult. Here is more about me to see if we could be a good fit.

I am deeply passionate about working alongside people to help them discover their true core self and all the parts that have been created along the way. I bring my authentic self into the therapy space as I encourage and help you to do the same. I believe every single person has inherit worth regardless of past or current experiences and I desire to help you dismantle the shame that keeps you stuck in cycles that aren’t fulfilling. Helping you to understand your internal world and how to navigate life and relationships in the healthiest most meaningful way for you. My approach integrates learning, understanding, dismantling, challenging, and finding tools/strategies that work for you and your goals. I have a particular interest in working with trauma, relationship issues, difficulties in family systems including navigating low or no contact, and breaking generational cycles.
